TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
